Baccarat is an extremely popular casino game played by James Bond from the famous “Secret Agent 007” franchise. This is a very fast and dynamic card game and is ideal for online learning.
Baccarat playing instruction
In this game like playing Blackjack, the player plays against the dealer, so if you are familiar with Black Jack you will immediately see the similarities between the two games.
For Baccarat, a standard 52-card deck without jokers is used.
The player bets his or her hand before the cards are dealt, after which the player and the dealer each receive two cards in the first round. However in most cases, the game ends because the game is scored with a Baccarat scoring system, after which the total is collected and the winner is won. Baccarat’s goal is to score 9 points as much as possible.
There is an exception though. If after seeing his cards the number of points scored is 0-5 the player must also draw the third card, otherwise he has the opportunity to draw a new card himself. Also, he can stay with the cards originally obtained and look at which tickets the dealer received, or who received the larger sum. If he decides to swap cards, will have another one whose value will counter the number of points the Baccarat dealer has received.
The player in Baccarat bets blindly and the bet can be placed on his own hand (punto), dealer’s hand (banco) or on a draw.
Baccarat – scoring system
- As – 1 point
- lady – 0 points
- gendarme – 0 points
- king – 0 points
- tenth – 0 points
- nine – 9 points
- eight – 8 points
- week – 7 points
- six – 6 points
- five – 5 points
- four – 4 points
- triple – 3 points
- double – 2 points
The points that carry two cards are added up and the total hand score is obtained. Ideally, in Baccarat, you get 9 points, and if you get a two-digit number you will be billed for the second digit of that number.
EXAMPLE – You get the King (0) and the Eight (8). 0 + 8 = 8. The sum of your hand is 8.
EXAMPLE – You were given a five (5) and a week (7). 5 + 7 = 12. The sum of your hand is 2.
As we said in this game, you can bet Baccarat on three winners. If you decide to bet on yourself (the player) the winnings are in the ratio of 1: 1. If you bet on the dealer, he will retain 5% of the winnings (commission) in the event of a win, and if you bet on the draw the win is in the ratio of 8: 1.
There are several types of Baccarat, and the rules vary from casino to casino.
